“Joining Project VOYCE has helped me overcome the

stereotypes that are against me.” Brea grew up thinking she did not have a voice. All throughout her childhood she was taught to listen and not speak in the presence of an adult. When she began going to school at CEC Middle College she was given the chance to join the Project VOYCE (PV) class, and she has not left PV since. Brea’s life goal is to teach in an inner city school as an American History teacher,and also create a non-profit organization that helps students who want to become teachers.
