Danielle Ongart, Secretary-- Danielle works in Denver Public Schools as the Training and Professional Learning Alignment Manager for Leading Effective Academic Practice (LEAP), the district’s teacher evaluation and support program. Danielle began her work in education as an elementary and middle school teacher in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City, and was a founding teacher at New Heights Academy Charter School. Danielle received her B.A. in Radio/TV/Film from Northwestern University and went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Teaching from Pace University.
