As a sophomore in 2011, Luis was introduced to Project VOYCE as an after school program at his high school and he has been involved ever since.  The work done through Project VOYCE created a new passion for Luis. It helped him become a more outspoken person, hard worker, and has allowed him to share his new passion with other students to help and inspire them. Through Project VOYCE, Luis was able to learn that he was more than a statistic and that with hard work, grit , and compassion anything he set his mind to was possible. Luis has been with Project VOYCE for 3 years now and has been able to work his way up to be a Site Coordinator at CEC Middle College of Denver where he graduated from in May 2014. He currently attends Arapahoe Community College and plans on transferring to a 4 year college to study Kinesiology and Digital Film Production.
