Democracy for the Next Generation

Project VOYCE is excited to attend the National Conference on Dialogue and Deliberation in Washington, D.C next month. The theme of the conference is “Democracy for the Next Generation” and the vision is to create a future whereby all kinds of people-regardless of income, position, background, or education–can engage in thoughtful and challenging discussions about what matters to them, in ways that have a positive impact on the world! After much dialogue and deliberation of our own, we have chosen Destiny Carney and Uche Ohaya to represent PV based on their essays of purpose. A special thanks to Roshan Bliss for helping us secure student scholarships for this conference!
