Welcome Yarkenda

2015 marks the third year of our partnership with the Urban Leaders Fellowship program. We are very excited to have Yarkenda Payne working with us this summer! Yarkenda is a Georgia native with a passion for education. Her work in City-Year inspired her to get involved with policy work. She will be working on solidifying PV's policy curriculum, as well as laying the foundation for our goal of lowering the voting age for Denver school boards. We would like to give a big shout to Senator Mike Johnston's office for supporting Project VOYCE through ULF (and sending the amazing Yarkenda our way!).
