Three PV staff–Sir, Martin, Phill Douglas, and Uche Ohaya–inspired a crowd of more than 100 people at the Colorado Chapter of the National Association for Multicultural Education Conference on September 19th. Educators from across the state heard personal stories and spoken word poetry that shed light on what happens when teachers work with their students to practice cultural responsiveness! Pictured here is the PV crew with author Sonia Nieto.
